J. Stevens & Co. was founded by Joshua Stevens with help from backers W.B. Fay and James Taylor in Chicopee Falls, MA, 1864. Their earliest product was a tip-up action pistol of Stevens' invention.This partly issued Stock not signed. Extremely rare with a custom gun vignette titled “Stevens Premier.” Also includes biography of this important and famous gun company.
