United States Senate Chambers admittance ticket signed by Adlai E. Stevenson I (October 23, 1835 – June 14, 1914) was a Congressman from Illinois. He was Assistant Postmaster General of the United States during Grover Cleveland's first administration (1885–1889) and 23rd Vice President of the United States (1893–1897) during Cleveland's second administration.
In 1900, he was the unsuccessful Democratic candidate for Vice President on a ticket with William Jennings Bryan.
