In 1886, the Aguan Navigation and Improvement Company issued its first paper money.The Banco Centro-Americano began note production in 1888, followed by the Honduran government in 1889, with several more banks issuing notes later. Denominations ranged between 50 centavos and 100 pesos.

Waltham Watch Company was an important and popular watchmaker. Also known as the American Waltham Watch Co. and the American Watch Co., the Waltham Watch Company produced about 40 million high quality watches, clocks, speedometers, compasses, time fuses and other precision instruments between 1850 and 1957.

J. Stevens & Co. was founded by Joshua Stevens with help from backers W.B. Fay and James Taylor in Chicopee Falls, MA, 1864. Their earliest product was a tip-up action pistol of Stevens' invention.

This partly issued Stock not signed. Extremely rare with a custom gun vignette titled “Stevens Premier.” Also includes biography of this important and famous gun company.

William Bingham signed Philadelphia & Lancaster Turnpike Road Stock

William Bingham (1752-1804), Banker, Legislator. Founder and director of the Bank of North America, the first bank in the country (1781). Served in the Continental Congress (1786-89), and in the U.S. Senate (1795-1801). He signs this early Philadelphia and Lancaster Turnpike stock in 1795 as its first President.

This is America’s first turnpike! Printed on sheepskin and in superb Condition. It has the most charming vignette of a covered wagon about to pass through a toll gate. These stocks were found in the 1970’s in one of the Philadelphia Transit Corp. carbarns, along with Philadelphia street railway and related stocks. Becoming quite scarce in nice choice condition.
